I ordered higashi for my father-in-law's 77th birthday celebration. The harmony of the kiri-wood box opened to reveal each sweet — he was deeply moved.
Unchanged
through the generations.
Our atelier has stood in Your area, faithful to two principles: domestic ingredients, hand-crafted work. Adzuki beans simmered in copper from five in the morning, wooden molds pressed by a craftsman's fingertip, gyuhi kneaded with Your area pure water.
Through generations, what we have changed is only the suppleness with which we meet the times. What we have not changed is the heart of crafting a confection that stands beside life's quiet milestones.
